Whirlwind of School

Wow. That is all I can think to say. I thought I could handle the busyness of school and still manage to post. Yeah, that obviously didn’t happen. But on the bright side, I’m officially graduated! With Magna Cum Laude, meaning “with great honor” in Latin. Not the very best (which is Summa Cum Laude, meaning “with highest honor”), but at least it was an honor. I finished up strong, not my usual 4.0, but it was a grueling year. I can’t believe I’m finished school foreverrrrr, well, at least until I decide to get a Master’s.
Graduation. Cheesy photo, I know. You can thank my dad for that one.
It was really stressful getting down to the wire with the pressure to find a job. But really, a company ended up seeking me out and my first week was this past week. Right now, I’m with a company called Bill Me Later as their Graphic Design intern. It’s just for the summer, and I never imagined graduating and finding this type of position. After all of the writing that I’ve done, I end up with graphic design. But I’m super excited to learn and develop my skills. Bill Me Later is even going to utilize my copy writing skills for projects – despite the title of my position. They’re excited, I’m excited, so it’s the perfect exchange. Since I’ve been at it for a week, I’ve had a chance to meet everyone and they are so EXTREMELY nice. They really seem to be a great group of people who are really passionate about the company they work for – which for me, is a must in finding a position. The people around you play a huge role in your happiness in the workplace. At least, that’s what I believe.
But anyways, on a more important note, I’d really like to jump in again and keep posting. I realize, or at least, I feel the need to give my blog some kind of direction. Problem is… there isn’t one definite thing that I’m extremely passionate about. I love too many things to choose one and put all of my energy into one specific topic. So, I’m still trying to figure that out. Any ideas!?
Until then, I’m more or less just posting for me. Terrible sorry for the lack of direction. Maybe one day soon I’ll find some narrowed inspiration. Despite what expert bloggers say, if you ask me, I’d say: Why limit yourself when your passion to experience life to the fullest is so open?
